Visitors to this year’s Chelsea Garden Show were mitt scratching their heads by an extraordinary liquid created by none another than inventor James Dyson. Inspired by the works of MC Escher, the water in the liquid appears to line uphill, cascading over the top of a series of quaternary ramps. Wrong Garden, as it’s called, actually took about 12 months to organisation and build, and the info to how the deceit is accomplished is stale revealed in the above demo from BBC News. Basically the laws of physics are mitt in tact, but shut expose is used to create bubbles that wage seeable clues that the water is liquid uphill, when in fact it’s not.
